Gamomat Appoints Industry Veteran Andreas Kaufmann as New CEO to Drive Expansion

Gamomat Distribution GmbH welcomes Andreas Kaufmann as its new leader.

Kaufmann possesses a deep understanding of the wagering industry. His extensive background encompasses roles with both online casino providers and operators, showcasing his versatility. He has even established and led as an iGaming executive. Gamomat is particularly enthusiastic about Kaufmann’s remarkable history of cultivating thriving enterprises with a focus on the European market.

Having previously held the position of CEO for an online casino group, Kaufmann brings invaluable expertise to Gamomat. He effectively consolidated and oversaw nearly all external software and services for the group, an accomplishment that will undoubtedly prove beneficial in his current role.

Dietmar Hermjohannes, the founder of Gamomat, expresses his delight in welcoming Kaufmann to the company. “Andi’s guidance arrives at a crucial juncture for us as we are well-positioned for sustained expansion. His familiarity with both operators and suppliers is precisely what we require to propel Gamomat forward.”

The company’s objective is unambiguous: capitalize on Kaufmann’s proficiency to bolster existing alliances and propel their strategic growth strategy.

Kaufmann, in turn, is eager to commence. “I am thrilled to collaborate with such a skilled team at Gamomat Distribution and contribute to the company’s attainment of even greater achievements within key regulated markets. My ambition is to introduce Gamomat’s exceptional game collection to a broader audience.”

Gamomat, a German online game creator, has launched more than 150 slot games for both real-money and social gaming platforms. Their offerings can be found in over 35 nations and are translated into 27 languages.

Lately, Germany’s national gaming authority, the GGL, directed numerous web service providers (ISPs) to restrict connections to sites operated by the Lottoland Group. This action forms part of a continuing campaign to suppress Lottoland, an entity the GGL deems an unlawful gaming enterprise. Earlier in July, the GGL commenced two administrative actions against Lottoland and is now intensifying its enforcement by focusing on the ISPs.
