Fanatics Sportsbook to Debut in Connecticut Through Partnership with Connecticut Lottery Corporation

The Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) has joined forces with Fanatics Betting and Gaming, a branch of the sports merchandise powerhouse Fanatics Holdings Inc., to introduce a novel sports wagering platform to the state. This collaboration follows CLC’s separation from its former associate, Rush Street Interactive, and clears the path for Fanatics Sportsbook to debut in Connecticut by the middle of December 2023.

Greg Smith, the head of CLC, conveyed enthusiasm about collaborating with Fanatics, emphasizing their distinct standing as a sports-centric entity and their renown for disrupting the sector. He is optimistic that Fanatics will revolutionize the sports betting landscape in Connecticut, resulting in substantial expansion for CLC.

As the Fanatics Sportsbook application prepares to launch on iOS and Android devices, Connecticut inhabitants and guests can anticipate a user-friendly interface that guarantees a smooth betting process. Fanatics is dedicated to providing a streamlined enrollment procedure, uncomplicated wagering choices, effortless withdrawals, real-time streaming, and the chance to accumulate FanCash incentives while engaging in betting activities.

This collaborative effort will introduce a specially selected “Discover” section for sports enthusiasts in Connecticut, recommending matches and wagers tailored to each fan’s preferences.

The Chief Business Officer of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, Ari Borod, expresses enthusiasm for broadening their presence in Connecticut. Their strategy involves not only establishing a presence in ten physical stores but also introducing their cutting-edge mobile application to provide users with an even wider array of choices.

This agreement follows an eight-year contract inked earlier this year between the Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) and IGT, aimed at implementing a modernized online lottery platform.
